METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WASHING FILTER FOR REGENERATING ROLLING OIL IN ROLLING MILL

PURPOSE:To effectively wash a polluted filter by immersing the filter to be washed into a washing tank charged with washing liquid and sliding the outer periphery of the filter while feeding air for backwash. CONSTITUTION:A five-piece set of filter 4 is respectively screwed to branched pipes 6 provided to a heater pipe 5. Then the filters 4 are immersed into a washing tank 1 charged with washing liquid. Thereafter air for backwash is fed to respective filters 4 via the header pipe 5 and simultaneously a motor 10 is turned to rotate a rotor 8 and thereby a brush 7 is turned while sliding the surface of a filter medium 4B. Therefore oily material and scale which clog the filters 4 are removed by means of both the feed of air for backwash and the turning and sliding of the brush 7.
