The invention concerns signal input into electronic data processing systems, particularly in severe operating conditions. The purpose of the invention is to increase the functional reliability and thus the effectiveness of microcomputers. For this purpose, the object is to prevent the effect of external disturbances on the functioning of microcomputers. This object is achieved by providing linking modules in the form of pulse masking circuits, which are clocked by a low frequency signal which is derived from the system clock, between the input-output gates of the computer and the connected device. The invention is mainly used in control systems where it is necessary to improve the real time behaviour.
