PURPOSE:To obtain a travel body capable of reliably traveling on all surfaces such as a slant face, a vertical face, and a suspended face by providing a pair of magnet bodies on a carriage having support wheels so that alternate reciprocating motions and alternate adsorbing and separating motions with respect to the travel surface are linked. CONSTITUTION:Feed screw bars 5, 6 positively and reversely rotated by motors 1, 2 respectively are rotatably supported on the right and left of a carriage 3 provided with support wheels 4 at four corner portions on one face (lower face), and magnet bodies 7, 8 moved back and forth in opposite directions to each other are screwed on the screw bars 5, 6. The magnet bodies 7, 8 are slidingly guided on a guide rail 10 having a cam-shaped sliding surface contacting or removing the tips of pin bars 11, 12 provided integrally with them with respect to the travel surface provided at the center of a carriage 3, thereby are adsorbed or removed from the travel surface. The carriage is traveled by the linkage of the alternate reciprocating motion of the magnet bodies 7, 8 and alternate adsorbing and separating motions with respect to the travel surface. |
