PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent (high-temperature) rigidity, transparency and antistatic properties, by blending a propylene polymer with a specified phosphate compd. and an antistatic agent. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. propylene polymer (A) (e.g., a propylene homopolymer) is blended with 0.01-5pts.wt. phosphate compd. (B) of the formula (wherein R1 is a direct bond, S, or a 1-4C alkylidene; R2 and R3 are each H or a 1-8C alkyl; M is a mono- - trivalent metal; and n is a number of 1-3) [e.g., sodium 2,2'-methylene-bis-(4,6-di-t-butylphenyl)phosphate], 0.01-5pts.wt. antistatic agent (C), pref. nonionic surfactant [e.g., N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)stearylamine] and optionally, additives such as an antioxidant, a light stabilizer, a clarifier, a nucleating agent, a lubricant, etc. The mixture is melt-mixed at 150-300 deg.C and pelletized. |
