PURPOSE:To always enable the titled equipment to receive a signal by storing image information temporarily on the basis of a ringer signal which arrives when equipment is in an unreceivable state and transferring it automatically to a preset transfer destination after the end of communication. CONSTITUTION:Even if information 12 indicating that reception is not ready owing to a reception jam or no recording paper is inputted to a control part 9, the ringer signal inputted from a circuit terminal 1 is inputted to the control part 9 through a ringer detection part 3, switching to a facsimile side is performed to start reception, and the image information is stored temporarily, thereby performing the reception. The control part 9 drives an origination switching relay 11 the end of the reception to begin to originate to a preset device among plural installed devices through an origination part 5. The image information stored in a memory part 13 is outputted to the circuit terminal 1 through a CODEC part 6 and a modem part 4 after the end of the procedure of communication with the opposite equipment, so that the information is transferred to the preset device.
