The present invention with the designation "variable vase" relates to stackable vessels or to an arrangement thereof, the intention of the invention being to construct the vessels in such a way that in their stacked arrangement they are capable of receiving cut flowers or plants, with simultaneous reduction of the standing area relative to the plant area by comparison with the vessel which cannot be used stackably. To solve this object, provision is made for an arrangement of interchangeable vessels, curvatures being integrated in the side walls of the vessels in such a way that an opening to the next lower vessel results. This vessel can then be filled with water there, said opening at the same time serving to receive cut flowers or plants.
