PURPOSE:To enhance raw storage stability and image contrast by forming grains from an acid or acid precursor and a thermoplastic polymer. CONSTITUTION:The heat-developable photosensitive material contains at least photosensitive silver halide, a dye donor, a reducing agent, a binder, the acid or acid precursor on a support, and the grains made from the acid or acid precursor and the thermoplastic polymer are allowed to exist. As the inorganic acid, sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, and boric acid can be used, and as an organic acid, aliphatic carboxylic acids are used, and, preferably polymer acids made from unsaturated monomer acid, such as acrylic or methacrylic acid are used. As the acid precursor, compounds each having a partial structure represented by formula I having the carbons on both sides of formula I bonding to carbon atoms are effective, thus permitting raw storage stability to be enhanced. |
