<p>The device is applicable to electronic taximeters (1) which consist of a central processing unit (3) and a non-volatile read-write memory (4) to which the tariffing data is transferred using a programming set (9). The programming set consists of a central processing unit (10), a non-volatile read-write memory (11), a keypad (13) and an interfacing unit (12) which may be connected in turn through a coaxial cable (14) to a series of taximeters (1) in order to reprogram their memories (4). The programming set has one memory slot in which an identification number for the set is written, and it also has a counter (15) which counts the number of taximeters which have been programmed. These data are transferred into the memory (4) of each taximeter during each programming. <IMAGE></p> |
