PURPOSE:To provide a dust-proof type drive device having a simple construction and a small size, by securing a dust-proof type drive belt to both ends of a slide table so that the belt may cover an opening in a dust-proof cover. CONSTITUTION:A drive belt 13 moves a table 4 in the direction (a) in association with the rotation of a drive pulley 10. At this time the drive belt 13 travels while it closes an opening 13. Accordingly, it is possible to enhance the effect of dust prevention due to exhaust gas. Further, by using urethane resin for the drive belt 13, it is possible to restrain dust generation from the belt 13. Thus, it is possible to miniaturize the dust-proof type drive device.
