PURPOSE:To execute in a short period the work from a preparation of a printing master to printing, by controlling a scroll drum at each different rotating speed at the time of a copying mode and at the time of a printing mode, and controlling paper feed timing and a feeding speed of a form, etc., in accordance with the rotating speed. CONSTITUTION:A copying operation is repeated by the number of sheets to be copied which has been set in advance, and also, the speed in the copying operation is PV1, and when a printing mode is selected by a button on an operating panel 180, the printing mode consists of an engraving process (speed PV2) for preparing a printing master and a printing process (speed PV3) for executing the printing by the printing master. In the printing process, electrostatic printing is executed by using the printing master which has been prepared by the engraving process, but since there is no exposure process of an original 2, a rotating speed of a photosensitive body 37 and paper feeding and carrying speed become the highest speed PV4. That is to say, the printing process in which a toner image which has been formed on the master by a high speed rotation is transferred on a form 85 and fixed is repeated by the number of sheets to be copied which has been set in advance. In this way, the work extending from a preparation of the printing master to printing can be executed in a short period. |
