<p>PURPOSE:To know the state of a control part when a fault occurs to make it impossible to perform the input/output actions with a CPU, by using a means that delivers the control information held by the control part to a main memory part before initialization. CONSTITUTION:A local memory 40 is used to a control information area, etc. and the hardware 10, etc. are controlled by the firmware 100. Under such conditions, the working has abnormality and a CPU 1 is incapable to perform the input/output actions against a control part 2. In such a case, a reset signal B is delivered to shift the control forcibly (in a hard-like way) to a firm area 20. While the firmware 200 transfers the information stored in the hardware 10 and the memory 40 to a main memory part MEM3 and then performs initialization of the hardware 10 and the memory 40. Then the contents of the MEM3 are read out to know the state of an information processor when a fault occurs, which contributes to analysis for factors of the fault.</p> |
