PURPOSE:To prevent turbo lag and improve responsiveness to acceleration by setting a throttle valve to an open side and increasing an intake air filling quantity in an area where turbo lag is generated, in an engine with a turbosupercharger having a throttle valve control device. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve control device has a turbosupercharger 14 while, on the other hand, it also has an accelerator operating quantity detecting means 30, a means 13 for driving a throttle valve 11, and a means 37 for controlling the driving means 13 so that the throttle valve 11 develops a preset opening characteristic in accordance with an accelerator operating quantity on receiving an output from the detecting means 30. In such a structure, a means 35 for detecting a supercharged area and a means 31 for detecting the supercharged pressure of intake air which is fed to an engine 1 are provided. And, a means 38 for correcting a throttle valve opening so that the opening with respect to an accelerator operating quantity becomes more open side than that for the preset opening characteristic, is also provided.
