摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the hindrance affecting on the mechanism or the like of an ink jet recorder, by providing a heating means for the heat resistant recovery component recovering non-recording ink discharged from a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:In the ink jet recording method of a hot melt type in which the ink being of a solid state at normal temperature is fused by heating to perform printing, an ink recovery apparatus is installed under the part where a printing head 4 is cleaned and composed of a heat resistant absorption component 8, a good thermal conductive component 7, and a heating unit 6. The heat emitted from the heating unit 6 heats the heat resistant absorption component 8 via the good thermal conductive component 7. The printing head 4 in cleaning is positioned just above the heat resistant absorption component 8 and the non-recording ink discharged from the printing head 4 falls down to the heat resisting absorption component 8 and is recovered as the liquid phase is. Therefore, the non-recording ink to be discharged is of a solid state in the recorder and is neither piled nor scattered.</p>
