<p>Device for displaying a design or a shape. This device comprises a bank of glass strips (10), some of which are made of a plurality of parts in abutment (100, 101, 102), whose contact surfaces (11) are flat surfaces substantially perpendicular to the plane of the strips, these surfaces being so positioned as to describe the outline of the design (D1) or shape to be displayed; the contact surfaces (11) form reflective planes for the light beams passing through the strips (10); and an artificial light source (15) may advantageously be combined with this device.
