PURPOSE:To enable the grade start of an electric rolling stock to be performed safely and exactly, by releasing an air brake after the starting thrust of a non-synchronous linear motor is sufficiently generated on the start of an electric rolling stock. CONSTITUTION:By the contact point of a start command relay SR, start command is directed to a gate control circuit GCB for input for a variable-voltage and variable frequency inverter VVVF, and by the variable-voltage and variable- frequency inverter VVVF, proper three-phase AC voltage and frequency controlled so that a starting thrust may be generated on non-synchronous linear motors LIM1-LIM4 are fed. After the starting thrust of the non-synchronous linear motors LIM1-LIM4 is generated, the contact point of a timing relay TR is opened. As a result, electrical command input to a brake receiver BR is eliminated, and an air brake force is eliminated. In this way, an electric rolling stock is not moved back even on a steep grade line, and grade start can be automatically performed. |
