PURPOSE:To allow plural tenants to share an attendant board by setting the tenant number of a line where an incoming call to the attendant board is made as the tenant number of the attendant board which responds. CONSTITUTION:When the attendant board 400 responds to an incoming call from, for example, a line 100, a tenant number na supplied to an incoming line 100 is set by a setting means as the tenant number of the attendant board 400 which responds. Further, the tenant number nb of the attendant board 400 is set similarly even when the attendant board responds to an incoming call from a line 200. Consequently, the attendant board 400 is able to answer to a incoming call form an optional line 100 or 200 and a connection with only a line given the same tenant number with the incoming call is made thereafter. Consequently, respective tenants can share the attendant board, so the number of the attendant boards which are installed is reduced and the economy of an automatic private branch exchange is improved.
