PURPOSE:To disuse the pattern matching work of a steel plate by arranging a guide gear wheel at the end part of the upper and lower embossing rolls of a steel plate embossing machine and by making the guide gear wheel engaged as it is even in case of the non-engagement of a matching gear wheel. CONSTITUTION:The engagement of matching gear wheels 16, 16' are dissolved by descending the lower emboss roll 15 by actuating a pressure cylinder 19 in case of passing the connection part of a steel plate between the upper and lower rolls 14, 15. Guide gear wheels 21, 21', however, hold the engagement, passing the connection part between both rolls 14, 15 with both rolls 14, 15 in the same rotating state. Thereafter, the lower emboss roll 15 is ascended so as to become the original roll shaft core gap by actuating the pressure cylin der 19. In this way the re-matching of the pattern of the steel plate becomes disused due to no relative movement being caused between both rolls 14, 15. |
