PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic laminate type organic photosensitive body high in photosensitivity and adhesive strength by forming a cobalt acetate barrier layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a conductive substrate is coated in a uniform thickness with a solution prepared by dissolving cobalt acetate in a solvent, such as water or methanol, and adding a thickener, such as polyvinyl acetate, to this solution, and dried to form the barrier layer. A photoconductive layer is formed by laminating on the barrier layer an electrostatic charge generating layer containing an organic compound having a charge generating function, and a charge transfer layer containing an organic compound having a charge transfer function, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic organic sensitive body to have high sensitivity and superior adhesive strength. |
