发明名称 AUTOMATIC GRIPPING AND TENSIONING DEVICE FOR EXTRUDED MOLDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To thoroughly relieve the strain of a fiber reinforced composite metal lic material (FRM) in the molding stage thereof by providing a means for auto matically gripping the extruded end of a molding by utilizing the extruding force of the molding and means for taking off the molding by applying pre scribed tension and speed to an extrusion device. CONSTITUTION:A billet 10 in a container 1 is extruded to a prescribed shape and size via a die 2 by an extrusion cylinder 5 and the end of the molding 11 is pushed into a clamping mechanism 9 to exert axial force to a slider 12. The slider 12 moves a holder 12' in an axial direction to grip the end of the molding 11 by the tapered fitting between the holder 12' and the clamp 13 and to exert the above-mentioned pushing force to a rod 8 of a pull-out cylinder 7 at the same instant. A hydraulic working fluid is supplied to the cylinder 7 by the signal of a pressure detecting means and the tension and speed are applied to the molding 1 when the back pressure of the cylinder 7 increases to the prescribed pressure. The strain of the FRM molding is thereby relieved simultaneously in the molding process thereof.
