PURPOSE:To prevent the opening of the back gap part of the titled head due to the contraction stress of a resin, etc., by connecting and fixing the core halves on the gap side with an auxiliary member. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary members 3 consisting of a slender metallic sheet are placed on the back gap parts of the core halves 1a and 1b having a ground abutting surface, an the halves are inserted into a winding bobbin 2. Under such conditions, the parts in the vicinity of a front gap and both sides of the auxiliary members 3 exposed from the bobbin (junctions shown by symbol 4 in the figure) are fixed by bonding, welding, soldering, etc. Consequently, the firmness of attachment between the front gap parts and the back gap parts can be semipermanently kept, the back gap part is never opened even when the contraction stress of the resin is exerted, and the impedance and reproduction sensitivity are not deteriorated.
