PURPOSE:To lighten the load of an external circuit and to check the data queuing state without deteriorating performance regarding data flow program execution by outputting an error token to the outside if data queuing is not completed in a fixed time. CONSTITUTION:If a started timer exceeds a preset fixed time to cause time-out, data corresponding to the timer and information on the queuing state are erased, and the error token reporting the time-out is generated and transmitted to an instruction execution unit 8. It executes the transmitted token, and transmits a token showing the result to a network interface unit 6. If the token is an error token, it is transmitted to the network interface unit 6 as it is. When the error token arrives, the external circuit 2 can know the failure (time-out) of data queuing.
