PURPOSE:To omit both a slide plate and an ejection lever which operates said slide plate and to decrease the number of component parts of a disk driver, by providing two types of guide grooves to the side face of a frame body for guidance of a cartridge holder. CONSTITUTION:A disk cartridge 8 is inserted into a cartridge holder 2 and is pressed toward C and therefore the rollers 12a and 12b of the holder 2 move along the horizontal parts 10a and 10b of guide grooves 9a and 9b. Then the roller 12b reaches the tip of the part 10b when the roll 12a abuts the tip of a slant part 11a. Then the roller 12b moves down along a vertical part 11b by the elastic force of a tension spring 4 and stops at the position where abutting is secured between a positioning pin 7 and the case of the cartridge 8. Thus a disk 8b is loaded onto a turntable 3. While the roller 12b reaches the horizontal part 10b when the terminal of the cartridge 8 is pushed down toward E and then returns toward F by the force of the spring 4. The roller 12a also returns along the part 11a and the holder 2 is ejected.
