PURPOSE:To secure the even floating value of a tape type recording medium by forming a spiral group so that the air intake is approximately decreased in a linear form toward the exit side from the entrance side in the first half part and that the air absorption value is approximately increased in a linear form toward the exit side from the entrance side in the second half part respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary cylinder 2A is revolved toward an arrow head 13, a tape type recording medium 9 is pulled toward cylinders 2A and 5A in the first half part D by the air absorption function of a spiral group 504A. While the medium 9 is separated from cylinders 2A and 5A in the second half part E since the air is blown out of a spiral group 504B. The air intake is approximately decreased in a linear form toward a center part B from an entrance part A in the part D. While the air exhaustion value is approximately increased in a linear form toward an exit part C from the part B in the part E. As a result, the medium 9 has approximately even floating value from both cylinders 2A and 5A in a range between both parts A and C.
