<p>PURPOSE:To record the signals of >=3 systems at a time with inexpensive constitution and also to perform a proper tracking operation, by recording the information signals of at least 3 systems among those information signals of (n) systems after superposing pilot signals of prescribed frequencies on those information signals for each system. CONSTITUTION:In a simultaneous recording mode of information signals of 3 systems, the pilot signals f5, f2 and f4 are superposed on the signals S1-S3 respectively. These signals are supplied to each head and recorded on a magnetic tape T. while 4 types of pilot signals are successively superposed in a recording mode of the information signal of only are system. In this case, however, the tracks TR1-TR5 are formed successively and alternately by a pair of magnetic heads 2A and 2B. In such a way, the signals of >=3 systems can be recorded at a time with inexpensive constitution and also a proper tracking operation is carried out.</p> |
