<p>PURPOSE:To make the stapling processing possible in a single original document automatic feeding by executing the stapling processing by a control means if a discriminating means discriminates that the next original is not set within a prescribed time after the end of image recording in the stapling mode. CONSTITUTION:An original document is set to RDF 300, and the number of copies is set by a ten key, and a copy start key is depressed after the stapling mode is selected. A controller discriminates whether the original document is set to a piling tray 301 or not in accordance with the output of an RDF sensor. If the original document is set there, the copy processing is executed, and an internal timer is set to a prescribed time when the processing is terminated. At the time of discriminating that a new original document is not set, the controller discriminates whether the timer expires or not; and if the original document is not set within the prescribed time, time-up is decided, and copied papers ejected to a stapling tray 507 are bound by a stapler 511 and are dropped to a stacker tray 513 to terminate the processing.</p> |
