PURPOSE:To prevent the reverse sticking of a toner from a cleaner to an image holding body and to increase a cleaning property by providing an electric potential adjusting to give the charge of the polarity reverse to a transfer electrifier between the transfer electrifier and the cleaner onto an image holding body. CONSTITUTION:Between a transfer electrifier 14 and a cleaner 17, a conducting brush 18 is arranged and the tip is allowed to contact with the surface of a photosensitive body drum 1. To the conducting brush 18, the electric potential of a varistor used for the electrification control of an electrifier 2 is impressed and the part of the level difference of the transfer is neutralized or electrified to a negative polarity. Thus, at the cleaner 17, the bias voltage of the positive polarity is impressed from a power source 21 to a collecting roll 22, a remaining toner on the photosensitive body drum 1 is a negative polarity, therefore, the toner is efficiently shifted to a cleaning brush 20. |
