PURPOSE:To record data with a high density, and to exactly read the data even if an uneven feed, etc., of a film are generated, by providing a write means for exposing a part of the film, and a write control means. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a write means for exposing a part of a film, and a write control means 150 for operating the write means so that an exposure quantity can be adjusted at the time of feeding the film. The write control means 150 is constituted of a reference write control part 16 for operating the write means by a prescribed interval by a prescribed exposure quantity, and a data write control part for operating the write means so that the exposure quantity can be adjusted, in accordance with data information which has been inputted, by depending on an operation of the reference write control part 161. In this regard, the data write control means 150, interfaces 151, 153, a keyboard 152, and a keyboard display part 154 are unitedly assembled and formed to a unit. In this way, the data can be written to the film with a high density, and also, at the time of reading the data, the data which has been written can be read exactly.
