PURPOSE:To perform high-accuracy data processing by judging whether or not the peak value of heat stress tends to increase or decrease with the lapse of time, and performing data processing and finding a life consumption rate. CONSTITUTION:Temperature data T on a plant and heat stress calculation data P1-PN are supplied to a heat stress calculation and storage part 11 through an input processing part 10 and the change with the lapse of time in heat stress generated in the plant is calculated at the storage part 11 from the supplied data and stored as time series data; when the peak value tends to increase, an increase tendency waveform life calculation part 12 calculates the life consumption rate. Consequently, only data which tend to decrease monotoneously are left in the storage part 11 and stored 13. The data are arranged in larger- peak-value order by a decrease tendency waveform life calculation part 14 which inputs a timing signal TM until the timing signal is generated, thereby calculating the life consumption rate. Then, the life consumption rates found by the calculation parts 12 and 14 are inputted to a life consumption calculation part 15 to calculate the life period consumption rate of one cycle.
