A valve for providing varying rates of feed of a hydraulically-operated machine tool part comprises a fixed plate 36 with a plurality of ports 35 controlled by independently adjustable needle valves 54 and a plate 33 rotatable by a shaft 39 driven by worm gearing 30, 31 whereby an inlet and an outlet 60, 53 of the valve may be interconnected through a single port 34 in the plate 33 in series with any one of the ports 35.
