PURPOSE:The titled fiber of side by side type having high crimpiness and antistatic properties, comprising one conjugated component containing a polyoxyalkylene glycol not to be reacted with polyester and an ionic antistatic agent and the other conjugated component containing none of them. CONSTITUTION:(A) A polyethylene terephthalate copolymerized with isophthalic acid containing at most 4wt% based on a conjugated component of a polyoxyalkylene glycol not to be reacted with polyester and 4wt% ionic antistatic agent as a highly shrinkable component 1 and (B) a polyethylene terephthalate containing none of them as a low shrinkable component 2 are separately melted, independently extruded from spinneret nozzles 1' and 2', respectively, collided and combined just bellow the nozzles to give the aimed conjugated fiber of side by side type.
