PURPOSE:To decrease an energy loss, and to execute a processing without deteriorating a processing liquid, by providing a temperature sensor, a setting device, an arithmetic means, and a control means, and controlling them so that the specific conditions can be held. CONSTITUTION:The title device is constituted by containing a temperature sensor 12 for detecting a temperature related to a temperature rise of a processing liquid for processing a photosensitive material, a setting device 26 for setting a processing start time of the photosensitive material, an arithmetic means for calculating a warming start time of an automatic developing machine, based on a temperature related to a temperature rise of the processing liquid and the processing start time, and a control means 22 for starting the warming of the automatic developing machine, based on the warming start time which has been calculated. In this way, the warming start time is changed in accordance with a temperature related to a temperature rise of the processing liquid and a control is executed so that the temperature of the processing liquid becomes a temperature being suitable for the processing at the time point for starting the processing, therefore, an energy loss is decreased, and also, the processing of the photosensitive material can be executed from the processing start time without deteriorating the processing liquid.
