发明名称 CARRIAGE MECHANISM FOR STEEL BILLET TRANSFER DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To smoothly perform steel billet carriage by installing a sensor for steel billet carrying-in detection and putting a shuttle car on a carriage frame extending between the preceding and the succeeding transfer device. CONSTITUTION:A steel billet carrying path 24 is divided into the preceding and succeeding transfer device parts 11A and 11B on respective sides of a roller conveyer 25. A mechanical sensor 35 is installed in the position of the conveyer 25 shown by the arrow (a). A shuttle car is put, through wheels, on a carriage frame 48 installed to extend between the preceding and succeeding parts 11A and 11B of the transfer device. When the sensor 35 detects a steel billet 2C carried on the transfer device part 11A, the frame 48 moves up and the sensor 35 moves down by action of a cylinder. Then, the shuttle car moves the steel billet 2C beyond the conveyer 25 to transfer the billet 2C onto the transfer device part 11B. In that method, the steel billet carriage is smoothly performed.
