PURPOSE:To obtain a laser reflecting mirror having the excellent adhesiveness of a coating film as well as durability and wear resistance by successively coating specific layers on the surface of the specular surface part of a specific aluminum alloy base body, thereby forming the mirror. CONSTITUTION:A high-purity chromium film or high-purity nickel film 2 as an underlying film is coated on the surface 1 in the specular surface part of the aluminum alloy base body and a copper film 3 as a metallic reflective film is coated thereon; further, a low refractive index ceramic film 4 such as SiO2 film and a high refractive index ceramic film 5 such as TiO2 are successively coated and formed thereon in a vacuum as reflectivity improving films to constitute the mirror. The materials having the different refractive indices are coated under the strict control of the film thicknesses in the above- mentioned manner, by which the laser reflecting mirror having the high reflectivity in a long wavelength region, the good adhesiveness between the underlying film and the respective layers and the high durability and wear resistance is obtd. |
