摘要 PURPOSE:To make always stable and uniform development by supplying a developing soln. from a developing soln. supply port which moves back and forth in the transverse direction intersecting orthogonally with a conveying direction onto a photosensitive lithographic printing plate, thereby developing the printing plate. CONSTITUTION:The PS plate which is subjected to image exposing is fed by a conveying roller pair 1 to a developing section where the developing soln. is supplied to the PS plate surface from a developing soln. supply pipe 2 moving back and forth in the transverse direction intersecting orthogonally with the conveying direction and the development progresses. After the PS plate is further rubbed by a rotary brush 3, the developing soln. is squeezed by squeezing rollers 4 and the PS plate is conveyed by a conveying roller pair 5 to a rinsing section. The speed of the forward and backward movement of the developing soln. supply pipe 2 is preferably in an about 0.2-4sec range of the time required for one reciprocation. The uniform development is thus executed with a relatively small amt. of the developing soln. and the laboriousness associated with the replenishing of the developing soln. is eliminated.
