PURPOSE:To ensure the quick selection of free wheels in a free wheel type constant four-wheel drive vehicle by forming a chamfer in one direction on both gear teeth of a sleeve of a change-over device and outer teeth of free wheels. CONSTITUTION:A chamfer angle alpha is formed on both end surfaces of a gear tooth 34b of a sleeve 34 and end surfaces on meshing sides of gear tooth 30b and 31b of outers 30a and 31a of free wheels so that the gear tooth 34b of the sleeve 34 of a change-over device is smoothly shifted to gear teeth 30b and 31b of the outers 30a and 31a of free wheels 30 and 31 while being meshed therewith, and furthermore so that the outers 30a and 31a can be rotated too the free direction. This constitution is capable of changing smoothly and quickly the gear tooth 30b of the outer 30a on the forward gear side over to the gear tooth 31b on the reverse gear side, or changing, on the contrary, the gear tooth 34b of the sleeve 34.
