In an aperture at the bottom of converging walls of a funnel-shaped lower part of a container (2) is a feed-out roller (6) which has an axial peripheral track (7) which can accommodate one sapling (5). The roller can be rotated forwards and backwards to that the track is moved over the funnel opening between two end positions where it locates adjacent to one or the other of the two converging side edges (3). Apertures are provided in the opposing container walls as a prolongation of the track when it is in the one end position. A removal device comprising a rod insertable in the track to push out a sapling located in the track, and through one of the apertures. |
