PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-color image without anxiety of mixing of the color up to the third color and the fourth color by destaticizing a photosensitive body surface, lowering a surface electric potential once and thereafter, forming the fourth color after the color up to third color is formed on the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:An optical destaticizing means 20 next to the third color developing device 19 is provided and further, the third charging device 21, the fourth color information input means 22 and a non-contacting type fourth color developing device 23 next to the optical destaticizing means 20 are provided. The optical destaticizing means 20 applies strong exposure through the toner of three colors stuck on the outer surface of a photosensitive drum 11 to the surface of the photosensitive body drum 11 till the means arrives at here. Then, the surface electric potential of the photosensitive drum 11 is lowered and the latent image formation and development of the fourth color information by the third charging device 21, the fourth color information input means 22 and the fourth color developing device 23 can be easily executed. |
