PURPOSE:To obtain a good welding state on whole weld zone by simultaneously pressing plural contact parts uniformly and stably, by projecting plural electrode parts at the tip of a rocking body by joining a base body and the rocking body press-fittably and freely rockably each other via a circular arc shaped contact part. CONSTITUTION:In case of pressing an electrode 14 to the body to be welded, the rocking body 17 of the electrode 14 is mutually press-fitted via circular arc shaped contact parts 18, 19 to the base body 16 held by the electrode holder and rocked freely. Consequently, each electrode part 20A, 20B provided on the rocking body 17 stably presses the weld zone by surely profiling to the corresponding weld zone surface of the material to be welded. In this way, a stabilized welding current is fed to the weld zone to obtain a good welding state.
