<p>PURPOSE:To manually and automatically reset a counted value at the time of exchanging a magnetic tape by permitting an automatic resetting sensor to detect the end of a magnetic tape, and resetting the counted value of an arithmetic processing part with the aid of a detection signal. CONSTITUTION:After a signal processing part 2 processes a counter pulse signal generated from a signal processing part 1 in accordance with the travel of the magnetic tape, the arithmetic processing part 3 counts said signal, thereby displaying the counted value on a display part 5. For manually resetting the counted value on the display part 5, a manually resetting switch 4 is operated, and the reset signal is outputted to the arithmetic processing part 3 to reset the counted value of the arithmetic processing part 3. The automatic resetting sensor 6 detects a signal generated at a time when the magnetic tape is normally rotated from its front or when it is reversely rotated at its back end, and transmits said signal to the arithmetic processing part 3 similarly when the manually resetting switch 4 is operated with the aid of the reset signal. Due to this transmission the counted value that the display part 5 displays is reset.</p> |
