发明名称 MEASURING SYSTEM FOR COMPUTER PROCESSING TIME
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure accurate program processing time by designating the start and end points of an instruction address of an evaluation test program to measure the processing time between these two points for the real device of a microcomputer under arithmetic processing. CONSTITUTION:In a microcomputer 1 to be tested, the instruction addresses which are executing the program processing are sequentially outputted to an address bus and applied to a comparator A4 and a comparator B9 respectively. The instruction address received by the comparator A4 is compared with the measurement start address stored in a start address register 3. Then a start signal ST is produced at the time of the coincidence is obtained between said addresses and then applied to a clock controller 6. Then the clock pulses CK received from a clock generator 5 in the fixed cycle DELTAt are transferred to a counter 7 as the counting pulses UP for start of a counting action. While the instruction address under execution is compared with the measurement end address stored in a stop address register 8 through the comparator B9. Then a stop signal SP is produced at the time of the coincidence is secured between both addresses.
