PURPOSE:To execute the abbreviated dial transmission by storing a special telephone number into a magnetic card and providing a reading device to read the telephone number and an automatic dial signal transmitting device. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic card 1 to register a special telephone number beforehand is inserted into a magnetic card reading device 2, the telephone number is read. The read telephone number is converted to a dial pulse signal by an automatic dial signal transmitting device 3 and automatically sent from a public telephone set 4. Here, when plural telephone numbers are stored into the magnetic card 1, after the magnetic card 1 is inserted, one telephone number is designated out of plural telephone numbers registered by the dial of the public telephone set 4 or the push-button operation and the designated telephone number is converted to the dial pulse signal and sent automatically to an exchange.
