PURPOSE:To improve the operability, to execute the hue adjustment, to execute the trimming and to reproduce and watch the image recorded at that place by integrating an image pickup means, a recording and reproducing means and an image displaying means to display, as an optical image, the output signal of the image pickup means and the reproducing output of the recording and reproducing means. CONSTITUTION:After a floppy disk 1 is inserted into a disk holder 2 and stored into a recording and reproducing device 8, recording and reproducing to the floppy disk 1 are executed. The image of a film 7 on a film folder 4 obtained by an image pickup element 12 is supplied through an image signal processing circuit 13 to a liquid crystal display 18 and the recording and reproducing device 8 and can be monitored prior to the recording to the recording and reproducing device 8. At the time of the monitoring, by operating an operating dial 16, the light quantity of a light source 9, the focus adjustment of an image forming optical part 11, the adjustment of a diaphragm and the change of a magnification are executed, the hue, the focus and the magnification ratio are adjusted and by adjusting the inserting position of the film holder 4, trimming is executed. Here, a part of the light flux of the light source 9 is also used as the back light of the liquid crystal display 18 as well.
