The pivoting decorative armouring for the frame and the landing door permits protection of doors by means of a removable decorative armouring and fastening to the frame by means of a pivoting bar mounted beforehand, resulting in an easy implementation and a finish which does not require subsequent work. It consists of: A) a decorative armouring as a covering for the edge of the door B) adjustment wedges for the removable hinge plates C) hinge plates with removable pegs D) washers with rotating balls E) hinge plate pegs F) a pivoting bar with anti-unhinging elements G) a door stiffener making it possible to fasten the armouring and the hinge plates. <IMAGE>
