PURPOSE:To readily obtain a fry food simply by roasting without using frying oil, by coating a frying material with a sheetlike material prepared by laminating a batter layer obtained by kneading wheat flour, starch, etc., with water, edible fat or oil and bread crumb layer one after another. CONSTITUTION:Wheat flour, starch, salt, pepper, etc., are initially kneaded with normally water and applied to a readily peelable thin film 1, e.g. cellophane, etc., to form a batter layer 2, which is then coated with an edible fat or oil 4, e.g. butter, etc. A bread crumb layer 3 is then formed on the edible fat or oil 4 and a frying material 6, e.g. lobster, etc., is then coated with the resultant sheetlike material and roasted. |
