PURPOSE:To obtain both a negative image and positive image by using one kind of photosensitive material by subjecting the color photosensitive material to imagewise exposure then to development to remove the diffusive dye formed or released to the image shape, then bringing the material into tight contact with a dye fixing material and heating the same in the presence of water. CONSTITUTION:The color photosensitive material contg. at least the photosensitive silver halide, the dye donative material which forms or releases the diffusive dye by a development and binder is subjected to imagewise exposure then to development to remove the diffusive dye formed or released to the image shape from the photosensitive material. Such color photosensitive material is brought into tight contact with the dye fixing material in the presence of water and is heated. A 2-equiv. coupler which maintains the diffusion resistant group at a desorption group and forms the diffusive dye by an oxidation coupling reaction is usable for the dye donative material. A method for transferring the diffusive dye released as a result of developing the photosensitive material to the dye fixing material by rinsing or using a hydrophilic heat solvent is used to remove said diffusive dye. |
