PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent flame retardance, tensile strength, elongation and impact strength, consisting of a polyolefin resin, a hydroxide of a specified typical element and an ethylene/maleic anhydride copolymer. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene is radical-copolymerized with 0.5-10wt% maleic anhydride and optionally a comonomer such as ethyl acrylate, vinyl acetate, etc. under a high pressure to obtain an ethylene/maleic anhydride copolymer (C). 10-69pts.wt. polyolefin resin (A) having an MFR of 0.01-500g/10min and a comonomer content of not higher than 50wt% is mixed with 30-70pts.wt. hydroxide (B) of a metal selected from the group consisting of Groups II and III typical elements of the periodic table [e.g., Mg(OH)2] and 1-20pts.wt. component C. |
