The invention relates to a device allowing sequences for assembling panels 1 arranged in sections according to a flat angle, comprising a rebate 2 intended to receive the thin edge of a perpendicular panel 3 having a groove 4 internally bordered with projections 5 whose face A supports the face B of opposing slides, in the form of a snout 6, extending the thin edge of the panels 1. The mounting is done by sliding the snouts 6 between the projections 5, which arrangement prevents any rotation about the points C and D. The invention allows plates to be constructed (formed from panels 1 of different widths, slid between two longitudinal members) which are held apart by sliding: of partitions 3, of facade panels (hollow), and optionally of backings. The sliding of a cross-member at the ends of the plates locks the system; its removal allows any permutation. This device applies to the mass-production of interchangeable furniture elements in kit form. <IMAGE>
