PURPOSE:To contemplate improvements in low-temperature characteristics, dimensional stability, impact resistance, chemical and physical properties, moldability, etc., by blending a specified polyamide with a modified lowly crystalline alpha-olefin random copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The following polyamide [A] is blended with the following modified lowly crystalline alpha-olefin random copolymer [B]. [A]: a polyamide wherein an isophthaloyldiamine component unit (a) of formula I and a diacyloyldiamine component unit (b) of formula II (wherein R<0> is a 4-25 C bivalent hydrocarbon group; and Ar is a 6-20 C bivalent arom. hydrocarbon group other than a 1,3-phenylene group- are randomly arranged. [B]: a copolymer having a crystallinity of not higher than 20% as measured by X-ray diffractometry, obtd. by grafting 0.01-10wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid or anhydride onto a base resin composed of a lowly crystalline alpha-olefin random copolymer formed from at least two 2-20 C alpha-olefins. |
