PURPOSE:To suppress the nozzle of a bubble magnetic domain detector and to improve an S/N by constituting a detection part so that plural soft magnetic thin film patterns can be disconnected magnetically and connected electrically with the aid of nonmagnetic conductive patterns. CONSTITUTION:The detection part 13 of the bubble magnetic domain detector 10 is so constituted that plural soft magnetic thin film patterns 14 and plural nonmagnetic conductive patterns 15 are alternately connected, and the patterns 14 are independent magnetically even through they are conductive electrically. Permalloy and so one can be used for the soft magnetic thin film patterns 14, while Au, Al and Cu can be used for the conductive patterns 15. Thus the ratio of wire width to the length of the soft magnetic thin film pattern 14 in the detection part 13 becomes lower. Therefore the shape anisotropy can be released, and the residual magnetization and coercive force of the title detector are substantially improved compared with a conventional detector. Noise is suppressed and the S/N can be improved.
