The cavity 1 of the device or transformation measurement device (metabolemeter) is limited by an annular lateral wall 12 and two opposite end walls 11, 13. One of the end walls 11 consists of the central part of the sensitive front face 21 of a static pressure sensor 2 mounted in a crucible body 3, the other end wall 13 consists of a removable lid 5 and the lateral wall consists of the internal edge of a radial lip 31 of the body 3, covering the remaining annular part 22 of the front face 21 of the sensor and assembled to the latter in a leaktight manner by a glue joint 4. An annular metal seal 51 is interposed between the lip 31 and the lid. The device allows thermobarograms to be made by using greatly reduced quantities of samples. <IMAGE>
